The GBTA |Greater DC Metro is a professional association of corporate travel directors, managers, and coordinators as well as travel related vendors and suppliers serving Washington, DC; Maryland; and Northern Virginia. Our members benefit by staying abreast of current changes in the travel industry, maximizing the contribution of their travel department to their company's profitability, and augmenting their professional standing.

Norther Virginia Chapter was founded in 1988 and the Baltimore-Washington Chapter was founded in 1970; in 2022 the merger of these two chapters created the Greater DC Metro Chapter of GBTA which provides the collective voice of this industry in around the Washington DC Beltway and beyond, providing the tools, information and networking opportunities required for effective business travel management.
